1. Confirmation of reservation:

Reservations will only be confirmed once the following is adhered to:

  • Check all information - dates & prices on the reservation form.
  • Sign the reservation form and fax back to Horizonte reservations with a copy of your bank/internet deposit slip.  No confirmation without your signature.
  • The deposit reference number should reflect on all deposit slips/internet banking transfers.
  • For any queries please quote your deposit reference number.
  • Deposits should be paid by the due date on reservation form;  otherwise reservation will be cancelled.
  • All reservations should be confirmed with the reservation office by fax / e-mail.  No telephonic confirmation will be accepted.
  • No provisional bookings - reservations are on a first come first served basis.

 

2. Cancellation of reservation:

  • All cancellations should be done in writing and faxed or e-mailed to the Horizonte reservation office.
  • 60 days prior to arrival - 50% of monies paid to date will be forfeited. 
  • Less than 60 days prior to arrival - 100% of monies paid to date will be forfeited.
  • Should we however be able to re-book the chalet within 60 days period, 100% of all monies paid to date will be forwarded for a future visit to commence within 1 year of the original reservation date. You will be liable for any price increase during this period.
  • If you do not notify us about your late arrival,  the chalet will be available for other clients within 48 hours.
  • If your reservation is cancelled due to an 'Act of God' i.e. floods etc. deposits will not be refunded.

 

3. Non-arrival / late arrival / early departure of clients:

In the event of your:

  • Non-arrival - you will forfeit your deposit and other payments already made
  • Late arrival - no refund for days not spent at the resort
  • Early departure - no refund for days not spent at the resort

Should any of the above be due to "bona fida" reasons beyond your control, your case will be judged on its merits.


 

4. Deposit payment

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit, (amount as indicated on your reservation form) is required to secure and confirm your reservation.  Should you not be able to pay the full deposit by the due date, kindly contact the reservation office to make arrangements for payment.
  • The balance (amount as indicated on your reservation form) is payable 30 days prior to arrival at the resort.
  • Submit your reservation form an all original deposit slips as proof of payment on arrival at the resort


5. Payment at the resort

  • Only SA Rands / Meticais / $US Dollars will be accepted for any payment at the resort.
  • No Cheques

Whilst every effort is made to ensure the safety of our clients, the uninterrupted supply of electricity and water - no responsibility can be accepted for any accident, illness, loss or damage to property or any other expenses incurred from your reservation at Horizonte Resort.

Horizonte Resort reserves the right to change the policy, terms and conditions and prices without written notice.
